Visiting Boston and Agadir
We have for the first time participated in the Seafood Expo North America in Boston, March 19-21. This year’s exhibition turned out to be the largest ever in its 37-year history with 1330 exhibiting companies from 52 countries.
Sales Director Peter Christensen was there and found it very interesting. One of our North American collaborators had our vertical freezer on show at their stand. We also showed our presence at the Danish Fish Tech and Danish Export Association’s stand at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center.

It was a great pleasure to meet existing as well as potential customers at the Salon Halieutis exhibition in Agadir February 15-19. Clearly, the fish processing industry in Morocco, Mauretania and other African countries is developing rapidly. We saw great interest in rapid freezing of species like sardines and mackerel. The interest in maintaining the good quality of the fish, and keeping investment costs low by using either vertical or horizontal plate freezing, has given us a great belief that many of the existing and coming factories will consider this freezing technique.
